Duties and Responsibilities of Department or Committee:
Keep accurate records for BOH of the following tests: percolation tests, plan reviews, upgrades, variances, septic inspections, well permits. Record and deposit to Treasurer all fees collected.
Issue, collect fees and keep records of all permits.
Keep Board informed of regulation changes, office calls, complaints received that need to be investigated/follow up on these complaints.
Enter vouchers for payment from Revolving Account for perc tests, plan reviews, and inspections.
License on a yearly basis all Disposal Works Installers and Septage Haulers, food and milk licenses
Sign all death certificates in town.
Organize annual flu clinic; maintain open communication between Board and Health Nurse
Issue transfer station permits, collect, record and deposit fees to Treasurer.
