On Sutton Common
Sutton Public Library
Join us at the Sutton Public Library at 10:30am as the Girl Scouts present a program of seasonal stories and holiday crafts. Refreshments, donated by the Friends of Sutton Public Library, will follow.
Sutton Historical Society at the Brick Block
While you view Linda Sinacola's paintings you can also visit with the Historical Society and enter to win a raffle, participate in the silent auction, and historical Society merchandise for sale. Candy for the kids.
TROLLEY ROUTE #1:
First Congregational Church
STARS & WONDERS -Enjoy Christmas music by the church choir in the sanctuary which has been beautifully decorated for Christmas. Between musical entertainment enjoy a tour of the sanctuary and learn some interesting historical facts about the church. Visit the Winter Wonderland and have pictures taken with Sutton's largest nutcracker. Enjoy lunch while being entertained by Girl Scout carolers. Have an ice cream treat from Cold Stone Creamery for desert! Purchase some wonderful homemade cookies to enjoy on a trolley or in your car as you visit other places in town. Christmas decorations, crafts or gifts for family and friends and that special item that you just have to have from the White Elephant Table will be available for purchase. You can even have your face painted by one of the
clowns! Be sure to visit the wreath display and vote for the winners of the contest sponsored by the Sutton Garden Club. Later, please come back and join us for a delicious "Famous Lake Ripple Roast Beef ".
St. Mark’s Church
An old-fashioned Holiday Fair featuring an extensive raffle table including homemade items, gift baskets, unique crafts and more! Area crafters and artisans showcase their wares. Kids can create crafts in the Children’s Corner. Visit our beautiful church for a few moments of quiet, comfort and calming seasonal music. Delicious homemade holiday cookies for sale by the pound.
Sutton Schools
Sutton Elementary School and the Simonian Center for Early Learning PTO invite you to the Gingerbread House Spectacular to vote for your favorite House; enter to win the GIANT Raffle Baskets; participate in the Cake Walk…a variety of cakes and pastries to win; Kids Zone; purchase your Sutton apparel and visit the home based sales vendors for some holiday gift ideas. Have lunch with the Middle school PTO in the Cheesecake Cafe.
Whittier Farms
Experience Christmas on the Farm. Enjoy a horse drawn wagon tour of the farm, kids games, petting zoo and pony rides. Taste samplings of our many products offered in our store. Bring your camera and have your picture taken with the Reinsteins! Join us for lunch prepared by the Sutton’s Lions Club. Hop on a trolley for a fun filled Christmas experience!
Keown Orchards
Take a step back in time as you tour the farm stand and taste freshly baked apple crisp. Freshly cut Christmas trees and custom made wreaths will be for sale. Sample over 25 varieties of apples, including the famous Sutton Beauty!
Bellawood Farm
Come visit and enjoy the spirit of Christmas at Bellawood Farm! Stroll through the barn and visit the farm animals. Come inside and sample or take home our hand-made goat milk soap. Watch local artisans hand-spin alpaca and llama fiber, and purchase some beautiful handmade gifts. Browse crafts for sale, and sample goat cheese from local farms. Christmas trees for sale...choose yours and have it delivered! Enjoy the music of a string band or sit by the fire. We look forward to your visit!

St. Anne’s Parish
The families of St. Anne’s Parish invite you to our Christmas Festival where there is something for everyone - - Raffles, Games, Cookie Decorating, Crafts, Homemade goodies and more! /you will enjoy the friendly and welcoming atmosphere! See the beautiful model of Manchaug Village (circa 1860) along with historical scenes and pictures. Engineer Dave and his young apprentice Brendan will demonstrate their model trains. This year we are bringing back an old favorite from the 50's % 60's - - our Christmas Post Office! You'll be surprised at who will be sending gifts! Stop by and check us out. Enjoy a hearty lunch with us and finish it off with our famous warm Gingerbread! We'll be waiting for you!
Vaillancourt Folk Art
Studio - Gallery - Museum...Celebrating twenty-five years in Sutton. Get into the spirit of the holidays with a visit to our beautifully decorated shop. The theme this year is "Dickens Victorian Christmas". The shop features chalkware, ornaments, and many other Christmas treasures. Tour our studio and see the pouring painting and finishing of Vaillancourt Chalkware figures. Visit the museum and our collection of antique chocolate moulds and chalkware designs that show how "Santa" has been represented in many countires and cultures.
Sleighbell Christmas Tree Farm & Gift Barn
Enjoy the beauty of a New England Farm at Sleighbell Christmas Tree Farm and catch some holiday spirit! Enjoy a hay wagon ride through our fragrant fields of Christmas trees. Enjoy a visit with Santa in our antique sleigh. And stop in the Gift Barn - - it's brimming with ornaments, candles and handcrafted gifts. We have Christmas trees, wreaths, wags, kissing balls and garland!
Sutton Senior Center
Come join us at the Senior Center and share in the holiday hospitality as local children sing Christmas Carols. Enjoy homemade lunch while listening to local musicians. The finest baked goods are prepared by our Sutton Seniors for your delight. Shop for elegant and affordable gift baskets for the whole family and don’t miss the knit goods and jewelry the elves have been busy making! Our “Dollar Store” has bargains for shoppers of all ages. Trolley on over to the Senior Center for a little taste of hometown holiday spirit!
National Gallery
National Gallery will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Polar Express, children will be making crafts, watching a movie, and can purchase a special edition of the book. We will also bring back our $5.00 room filled with great gifts for all. A special raffle table will be set-up with all donations going to Hope for the Homeless (neighbors helping neighbors). There are specials this Christmas season with great gifts items from Zable Beads, Jim Shore and many more! Remember to bring a donation for the Sutton Food Pantry and receive a thank you gift! The best is that our own crafters will be here to meet all of you! See you soon!
The Mill Store Tea Room at Rebecca LeCouteur Interiors
You are invitedto our charming and ecletic shop and tea room. Come in and enjoy our sumptuous fare of Chedar Cheese Brocolli Soup and Brats. First Congregational Church – Hot soups, hot dogs, and hamburgers.
St Anne’s Parish’s Gingerbread Café -Homemade chili, baked potatoes with the fixings, grilled cheese, hot dogs, potato chips and warm gingerbread served with whipped cream.
St. Mark’s Church – Breakfast bagels and coffee. Hot lunch served all day. The Knights of Columbus will prepare their fried dough and clam fritters.
Sutton Senior Center – Gram’s homemade turkey soup. Easy sandwich lunches featuring seafood and chicken salad and meatball subs.
Cheesecake Café – Sutton Middle School PTO will serve pizza, subs, cheesecake and baked goods.
The Mill Store Tea Room at Rebecca LeCouteur Interiors - Cheddar Cheese Brocolli Soup and Brats.
Whittier Farms – Sutton Lion’s Club will be serving hamburgers, hot dogs, chowder and fried dough.
