On Monday, June 19, Sutton Board of Selectmen Chair Jesse Limanek and Energy Manager Doreen DeFazio were at the State House for a presentation of a state grant for the town’s efforts as a Green Community.

Sutton received $204,888, which will be used to buy a new boiler system for the SCEL and two electric cars.

“Much of this work was done by Doreen DeFazio,” Town Administrator Jim Smith said. “The Town of Sutton has received $639,467 as of (June 27) in Green Community grants.”
