The Sutton Food Pantry..... UPDATED July 29, 2010
The Food Pantry is located at the Sutton Senior Center. The purpose of the Sutton Food Pantry is to help individuals and families in the Town of Sutton to make ends meet during tough financial times.
We set another record this week (July 26, 2010) when we had 13 families in 3 days reach out to the Food Pantry for assistance. We have currently enrolled 3 new families in Food Pantry. As you can see the need continues to grow.
As always, all of your donations made to the Sutton Food Pantry stay in the Town of Sutton. Financial donations can be made to The Friends of Sutton Elders Food Pantry Account.
We are very fortunate to receive support from Sutton Churches, Sutton Schools, Sutton Police Department, Thanks to our area scouts, youth groups and ball/soccer clubs for their willingness to run successful food drives! Thanks to the many area businesses and families that support the Sutton Food Pantry.
We would like to thank the Sutton Post Office for their Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive! Their support has been greatly appreciated! We had 3 truck loads of food donated. Thank you to our friends from Sutton Fire and Sutton Highway for picking up and delivering all of that food to the pantry.
A BIG THANKS to Barbara Bessette for all of her love and support with the Food Pantry!
