LEGAL ASSISTANCE: The Senior Center offers legal assistance for various issues. To speak with our volunteer attorney, please call the Senior Center at 508-234-0703.
FLU SHOTS: The Sutton Board of Health provides seniors over 65 in Sutton with a flu shot for free. You must bring your insurance information. The Flu Clinic is usually offered in October or November. Please call Senior Center at 508-234-0703.
PODIATRY: The Senior Center is happy to have Doctor Anthony Biancamano offer services here at the Senior Center. Dr. Biancamano is here bi-monthly. Please call the Senior Center to check date, time and availablity at 508-234-0703.
OUTREACH: Fritzi Petrie is our Director of Outreach Services. The specific areas of focus are, safety issues with the elderly, nutritional needs, family support, elder abuse, health care, social needs, mobility, financial concerns, physical status, psychological needs, medications, substance abuse and legal concerns.
WORCESTER COMMUNITY ACTION COUNCIL FUEL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM: Each season, usually August or September, Fuel Assistance is available through the WCAC in Worcester. They will schedule appointments for people in Sutton. For further information, call the Senior Center at 508-234-0703. You will need to meet certain income guidelines.
MONTHLY INFORMATIONALS: Keep an eye on our newsletter each month. We offer a wide variety of health and wellness programs, such as, Cholesterol Management, Diabetes Management, Dieting and Nutrition, Osteoporsis, and Eye Care. All programs are free.
