Scholarship Donations: At the annual town meeting held on October 1990, the town accepted Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 60, Section 3C (Municipal Scholarship Fund) under Article 12 of the warrant.
This acceptance allowed the town to establish a scholarship fund; said funds are collected through municipal tax bills. Each real estate, personal property & excise tax bill issued has a scholarship donation form at the top of the bill. It is on this form taxpayers may contribute an amount of money to the scholarship fund. Residents may also now contribute to the Sutton Scholarship Fund online.
