If making a payment using your own banks bill payment system, please make sure that you send us a separate check for each bill that you are paying and that the bill number is noted on the check. This will insure that your payments are posted correctly. If this information is missing or incorrect your check will be returned to you and can delay posting of your payment which could result in late fees.
Also please allow 7 to 10 days for us to receive the check. Payments are posted on the date they are received.
If you would like a receipt for Real Estate, Excise and Personal Property Taxes paid in the previous calendar year,
click on “tax info request form” to download the form. You can mail or fax the form to us. If you would like the information mailed to you please provide a self-addressed stamped envelope with your request.
Due to the amount of requests we receive at this time of year we will be happy to call you when your information is ready. we will do our best to get this information within 10 days of the date we receive your request.

The Collector's Office is responsible for the billing and collection of all monies due to the Town of Sutton including:
Real Estate Tax
Personal Property Tax
Motor Vehicle Excise Tax
Boat Excise Tax
The Treasurer's Office is responsible for the receipt of all Town monies and investments, all Tax Title Accounts, and the timely payment of all expenses and payrolls of the Town.
