Services
Elderbus
The Elderbus is available for transportation to and
from the Senior Center, the doctor, shopping, and other appointments. Please
call 508-865-1602 for reservations.
Meals
The Sutton Senior Center is open for people to drop in from 9:00 a.m. to
4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Lunch is served at 12:00 p.m. Call
508-234-0703, twenty four hours ahead for lunch reservations.
Monthly Newsletter
Our monthly newsletter, is the “who, what, when, and why” of events
scheduled at the Senior Center that are of interest to Sutton seniors and their
families. Call the Senior Center to be put on the mailing list.
Blood Pressure Clinic
Blood pressure is taken and health concerns can be discussed.

Caregivers Support Group
The group provides information for caregivers to learn ways of coping,
staying healthy, sharing with other caregivers, and learning from guest
speakers. Check calendar for date and time.
Games
The following games are available, cribbage, bingo, pokeno, bridge, whist.

Activities
The following activities are available,
discussion group, chair yoga, crafts, manicures, hair styling, walking, computer
training. Check calendar for date and time.
Computer Training
Beginners - very basic, parts of a computer, how to
use the mouse, understanding wordprocessing, choosing an internet provider.
Intermediate - Sending and receiving email, surfing the web, searching,
database, spreadsheet, wordprocessing.
Advanced - power searching, problem solving, web page building.

Books
The Senior Center library’s regular size and large print books can be read at
the Senior Center or borrowed to be read at home. Books include the classics as
well as current titles donated from book lovers. Also available are magazines
to be read at the Senior Center.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers fill a variety of positions at the Sutton Senior Center. They
lead groups, provide office support including utilizing computer skills,
offering hospitality, visiting elders in their homes, and undertaking special
projects. There are also many other ways they help at the Center. If you would
like to volunteer or have special skills or interests to share, please give us a
call.
Tax Preparation
In cooperation with AARP and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), federal
and state income tax preparation assistance is provided by appointment with
trained volunteers.
Notary Public
Notary Public services are offered at the Senior Center. Please call for
availability.
