Duties and Responsibilities of Department or Committee:
The Board of Selectmen is the Chief Executive Board of the Town of Sutton.
They are the chief policy makers and have the power and authority to execute contracts, issue licenses and permits, and appoint various boards and positions, including the Town Administrator and Town Counsel.
