DUE TO COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS, AS OF DECEMBER 10, 2020,  WE HAVE TEMPORARILY ADJUSTED HOW WE'RE PROCESSING LTC APPLICATIONS.
 

    In response to the COVID-19 virus, the Sutton Police Department will temporarily alter how we process LTC/FID applications and renewals.  Following recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC) along with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health(DPH) for social distancing and limiting close proximity contacts, we will begin the process via mail.  When the CDC and DPH change their recommendations, those who applied via mail will be contact to come to the police station to complete the application process.  

 

LTC/FID Renewal and New Applications

Fill out the application completely, neatly and truthfully

Print your application

Provide proof of residency(copy of MA Driver’s License, bills to residence, etc)

Certified Firearms Safety Course for New Applicants Only, not renewals

 

Submit your application with:

$100 non-refundable fee in form of a check to the Town of Sutton for LTC/FID application or renewal

$25 non-refundable fee in form of a check to the Town of Sutton for FID UNDER 18 application or renewal

All fees are waived for applicants who are 70 years of age or older

Current email address so we can confirm receipt of application
