Town Moderator

The Town Moderator is elected by Sutton residents for a term of 3 years to preside over all Annual and Special Town Meetings.

The Town of Sutton holds both Spring and Fall Town Meetings. An Open  Town Meeting allows residents to attend the annual meetings to discuss and vote items on the warrant. Special Town Meetings are held on an as-needed basis to conduct business that was not ready to be decided at the annual meeting, or that become necessary.
