Holiday Liquor License Hours Set

During the Nov. 13 Board of Selectmen meeting, members authorized the holiday hours for the town’s liquor license holders.

On Sunday, Nov. 25, Dec. 2, Dec. 9, Dec. 16 and Dec. 23, package stores may open at the regular time of 10 a.m. They must close by 11 p.m.

On Wednesday, Nov. 21, all package stores may stay open until 11:30 p.m.

On Thanksgiving (Nov. 22), package stores, manufacturers, wholesalers and importers may not sell or deliver alcoholic beverages at any time during the holiday. Hotels, restaurants, taverns and clubs may sell alcoholic beverages during regular hours.

On Dec. 24, all package stores my stay open until 11:30 p.m.

On Christmas Day, package stores, manufacturers, wholesalers and importers may not sell or deliver alcoholic beverages at any time during the holiday. Hotels, restaurants, taverns and clubs may sell alcoholic beverages starting at noon.

Per a vote of the Board of Selectmen, the pouring hours on New Year’s eve have been extended until 2 a.m. Also on Dec. 31, all package stores may stay open until 11:30 p.m.

On New Year’s Day, all 2019 licensees may sell or deliver alcoholic beverages.
