Sutton Cultural Council sponsors Blackstone Valley Community Band on Common - Tuesday, 7/16/19 at 6:30pm

Sutton, MA – Local favorite, the Blackstone Valley Community Band, comprised of more than fifty volunteer musicians of various skills and ages and passion for music, will perform in Sutton on Tuesday, July 16 beginning at 6:30pm. The concert will take place at Sutton Town Common, 4 Uxbridge Road, Sutton, MA.

The concert is free and open to all!

The Sutton Cultural Council awarded the band with a grant to perform for the community. The Council is part of a network of 329 Local Cultural Councils serving all 351cities and towns in the Commonwealth. The LCC Program is the largest grassroots cultural funding network in the nation, supporting thousands of community-based projects in the arts, sciences, and humanities every year. The state legislature provides an annual appropriation to the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency, which then allocates funds to each community.
