UPDATE - 09/12/2023

The Town of Sutton would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the compassionate and generous donors who delivered aid in the form of donated items, monetary support and time/effort and hope to these most vulnerable families. Your support and kindness lightened the lives of the political asylum refugees currently residing in Sutton.

There is no longer a current need for donations of any kind (including physical items, monetary gifts, and volunteers). The immediate needs of the refugee families have been met and programs and processes are underway.

Thank you again for your kindness. This is a fluid situation, and the needs may change again. We will keep you posted if additional needs arise.

In the meantime, the Sutton Food Pantry is low on the following items and very much appreciates support with the following items:

Instant potatoes                                  Mayonnaise                            Bar Soap
Fruit Cocktail                                      Peanut Butter                          Toothpaste

Canned Ham                                       Manwich Sauce                      Laundry Detergent

The Sutton Food Pantry is located next to the Sutton Senior Center, 19 Hough Road, Sutton and is open Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM until 3:00 PM to accept donations. A donation box is also available at the main entrance at Sutton Town Hall, 4 Uxbridge Road, Sutton (2nd Floor).

HOW TO ASSIST SUTTON’S REFUGEE FAMILIES

As is often the case when people are in need, numerous offers of aid and supplies from our residents have already been received. We are working with our public health and human services groups to assess the needs of individuals, and more information about how you may help will be provided as soon as possible. The Town is providing this information as a way to find the various groups and opportunities if you would like to help.

DONATIONS - ITEMS

Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness! Volunteer residents are coordinating donations of goods through a local business. Diapers, formula, clothing, and numerous other donations have been received. Volunteers are currently sorting through received items and will be identifying further needs.  An Amazon Wish list is established and will be updated and released as additional needs are identified. Until further notice, please do not donate any further items as space is very limited.
