Budget / Town Meeting & Election
The Town of Sutton is governed by General Bylaws, Home Rule Charter, Massachusetts General Law, and other relevant statutes. The Town’s form of government, an elected, five-member Select Board appoints a Town Manager to administer the daily operation of the Town. The Town’s legislative body is Open Town Meeting. According to the General Bylaws, the Town Manager must submit a balanced budget annually to the Select Board and Finance & Warrant Advisory Committee.
