Public Remote Participation

 

PUBLIC REMOTE PARTICIPATION PROCEDURE

Members of the public who wish to participate in the meeting may do so in the following manner:

1. On the meeting date and time, turn to Sutton Community Television Government Station, Verizon 31 or Spectrum 191, to watch the live broadcast of the meeting OR visit www.youtube.com/c/TownofSuttonCable to watch the live stream when available.

2. To participate in the meeting, we recommend downloading the zoom app before the meeting.

3. Join the Zoom Meeting at start of meeting.

  • Using your computer or smart phone go the Zoom app and click “join a meeting” and enter Meeting ID and Passcode or click on link provided on
     the Cable Dept home page www.suttonma.org/cable-department
  • To join by telephone (audio only), dial 1-929-205-6099 and follow instructions to enter Meeting ID and Passcode.
  • Everyone will be placed on mute and have their video turned off when you enter the meeting. 
  • If you would like to speak during Public Forum or during a Public Hearing, please "raise your hand" and after being recognized by the Chair, we
    will un-mute you and ask you to enable your video.
  • To "raise your hand", click on 'participants' on the bottom of the Zoom window and then click on "raise your hand' below the participant list.  If you do not see 'participants' at the bottom on the Zoom window, click on the "..." and you will find 'participants' there.
  • To "raise your hand" by telephone, press #9 and again to lower your hand.

4. The standard procedure for a public hearing is a presentation by the applicant and/or the applicant’s representative; questions and comments by the Board or Commission; then opening questions and comments to the abutters. Please be patient and wait for your turn to participate.
