C.O.P Program

Citizen Observation Patrol
police car
Here is your opportunity to experience what it would be like to be a member of the Sutton Police Department. We are offering a Citizen Observation Patrol (C.O.P.) to the residents of Sutton. Members of the community will be given a tour of the police station then will go on duty with the Officers of the Sutton Police Department. C.O.P.s will be able see what officers see and experience what they do from a firsthand point of view.

C.O.P.s patrols will be offered during the day and evening hours. Applicants must be 18 years of age. If you are interested, go to our website(link below), fill out the application then return it and wait to hear back from our administrative staff on a date and time when you can come and ride along. There are a few procedures that must be met during the application process, but the C.O.P.s program is worth the wait!

We look forward to hearing from you.

Applications and waivers can be returned to Sgt. Nunnemacher in person at the police station or by email.
