- Public Shade Tree Application - Alteration of trees on or within the Towns roadway right of ways. Varies from 5' - 20' off each side of the paved road surface depending on the road.
- Subdivision Application (creating new roads and lots along them)
- Scenic Roadway Alteration Application - Alteration of trees or stone walls on or within the Towns scenic roadway right of ways. Varies from 5' - 20' off each side of the paved road surface depending on the road. Scenic Roadways: Boston, Burbank, Buttonwood, Central Turnpike,Century Farm, Douglas, Eight Lots, Hartness, Hutchinson, Lincoln,Manchaug, Mendon, Purgatory, Rich, Sibley, Stone School, Town Farm,Waters, West Sutton.
- Site Plan Review Application - Required for ALL new structure or additions larger than 200 s.f. or creating 5 or more parking spaces OR for new uses that are wholly different and/or more intense than the previous use.

- Site Plan Waiver Application - Existing structure, minor addition/changes or new tenant or owner with a similar or less intense proposed use.

- Special Permit Application - Sutton's Zoning Bylaw allows a variety of uses/conditions only by Grant of a Special Permit. These uses will have a "S*" in the Use Table columns if the Planning Board is the permit granting authority and an "S" in the Use Table columns if the Zoning Board of Appeals is the permit granting authority. Uses/conditions not specifically listed or stated in the Bylaws are not allowed and Sutton does not allow use variances.

NOTE - Special Permits for a particular use granted by the Planning Board ("S*" in the Table of Use) should also use this above Special Permit application listing the particular section of the Use Table (III.A.4.Table 1 - Section ____) - Application for Additions (to be submitted to the Board of Health at the same time as accessory apartment application to the Planning Board)
- Draft Retreat Lot Covenant - To be submitted with this Special Permit Application
- Certified List of Abutters - The Planning staff will submit a request for the certified list of abutters on the applicant's behalf once the application is filed with the Planning Office.
